We have an active Ladies Guild whose activities include many things. We mail Valentine
gifts to our college students, make tray favors for the local nursing home and have a baby
shower each spring for the unwed mothers. The parish women enjoy a night out twice a year.
Women from the guild provide funeral
luncheons.
Liturgy of the Word for Children
During the 11:00 mass on Sunday,
an adult takes the children, ages 4 to 8, to the social
hall for their own scripture interpretation and activities during the scripture readings and
the homily for adults. The children are presented the reading at their own level of
understanding and are given a bulletin that has activities that relate to each Sunday's scripture.
