Shadyview was founded in 1983, after many years of studying and watching Irish Setters. Our foundation bitch Am Can Ch Windwood Merry Mockenbird CD ROM "Solean" was purchased in 1987, and to this day she is my idea of a true Irish Lady. Together Solean and I had many joys, a few tears , a lot of firsts, and a life filled with wonderful memories. Even though Solean left us at age 14, her paw prints will go on forever in each and every Shadyview puppy. The following is a tribute to you, Solean, with all my love.
Since this is a tribute to Solean and her offspring, there are not any pedigree's enclosed.

Solean at age 12.
Solean's outgoing rollicking personality caught the eyes of many ringside viewers in both conformation and obedience rings, and in the field. She truly had her own Fan Club. Her grace and beauty caught the eyes of the judges, and her heart caught mine. From her Best of Breed Wins to Best in Veterans Sweeps at the ISCA National she was truly a winner and a delight.
Forever is a long time, and that is how long I will remember our love and time together.
