Human Experience; The Very Stuff of Spirituality,

The place you and I stand every day of our lives is Holy Ground

because God is present.

My present experience, where I am called to be Right Now is Sacred.

In the here and now, in this space and moment,

I can nurture a spirit of contemplation within myself

and deepen my awareness of God who speaks to me continually in the midst of my daily life.

Like you, I am invited to draw near to The Fire of God’s Mystery,

to Love and Contemplate God’s presence in the world,

and to remember I stand always and everywhere on Sacred Ground.

The Holy Spirit is always at work in you and me

calling us into a deep, prayerful Attentiveness to God’s Presence within every moment,

in every person I encounter, in all aspects of God’s Creation.

The Spirit calls you and me to Silence, Sacred Space, Slowing, Seeing, Sensing, and Savoring.

John’s poetry is awesome.  It is so moving and touching, and oh so confirms the truth that all we do and experience fits God’s plans.  I just love how he seems able to reach down deep into his being and put into words his thoughts and emotions, as well as those of the reader.  Through John’s poetry, It is as if we can see into everyone’s life story and weave a bit of thread from their experiences. Through his poetry, we can all relate to each other.  Thank you, John, for sharing your gift.

John Chuchman is one of the most compassionate and loving men one could ever meet.  These qualities are reflected throughout his persona, especially his poetry and bereavement counseling.  John looks at life through a lens of love, allowing readers to enter into his soul.   Through his work, we are able to share John’s love of family, love of church, love of God, love of nature, and love of others.  With love, he lays bare the unspeakable despair regarding his beloved Church’s betrayal of its women and children, its most vulnerable and most loyal followers.  His words quicken within me a sense of my own experiences of loss, death and joy.  Other readers have said the same.  The beauty is that, through John’s example, we too can look at life through a lens of Love in dealing with all that confronts us daily.  John never loses hope.  His books are really love letters to God.
